i dont know what the chubby is like but this is the maxair kit / twin K&N pod filters

when the throttle is blipped at the start you can hear a kind of phooosh sound. in my experience the intake sound is fairly unnoticeable until you start to open up the throttle, then it has a deep growl/roar to it.
i just dont get why anyone would not like the sound, especially if they like loud exhausts etc. i love the sound

I found the sound to be very nice. The performance trade off is awesome. Look at the video from F.Y.B the 1100 will not accelerate like that stock.

I have a Chubby, and this (^) is all that I've noticed on the intake sound, just when blipping the throttle as FYB says. I've got a Cobra exhaust system, and there is a big difference in sound there.

Seems to me a little louder and deeper in tone.

Either my exhaust is too loud or i am going deaf, i never notice any 'intake' noise. If you do hear any intake noise from the POD kit it will be well offset by the performance increase you get
