Hello everyone! I am posting this in "The Lounge" section under Non-motorcycle Discussions. Not because this is not about motorcycles, but because this is a non-Star Bike motorcycle discussion.
I have to admit that I am a girl who is infatuated with two wheels and traveling. Women culture in the motorcycle industry is growing and expanding, and I want to do more research about the different facets that are forming.
Many years have passed since the dawn of the motorized two-wheeler. Different sub-cultures have emerged within the motorcycle world, and I am starting to see groups of women who bridge the gap between these sub-cultures. Why are they bridging them? Because women are still a minority among bikers. Women are starting to connect in areas, towns, states, coasts; and they come from all different walks of life. They are connecting and bonding wherever and however it is convenient. They may be on different bikes, have different styles, but share the common love of riding.
I would like to share some links to videos that I find. This first one will be something that I found on YouTube. And I'm sure that I will find many other videos this same way, (just clicking around).
This first video is a documentary, called "Driven to Ride". Click red link below to watch:
