Touch up paint

I need to get some touch up paint for my 06 1100. Its the bright red model with the silver flames. I've been on some websites that sell Yamaha paint and there were several red options. Any help would be appreciated. I recently bought it and its pristine except for some tank chips...driving me crazy.

Since I paint my fingers and toes I use nail polish. I can either find the exact shade I want or I can mix it. It will work find in small chips, it can be lightly sanded and cleared. It stays on.

I've done the same. I looked into Yamaha's touch-up for my '05 deluxe with the red metallic. Yamaha is very proud of their paint. I found some nail polish at my local dollar store and it matched up pretty good. It's even got the sparkle. Looks better than then chip that was there.

Exactly. Yea sometimes the sparkle is larger in the nail polish so gotta be careful it does not look worse than the chip that was there by drawing attn to it.

That is where I have an advantage over most guys. If it does not match I keep it anyway to paint my nails.. LOL Seriously small chips if you get close to the color it works. Keep a little white and black to make it darker or lighter as needed.
