Headlight question

My low beam has gone out on the headlight on my stock 2012 V Star 1300 and I was debating on switching to an LED bulb.

Any recommendations from anyone that has been there?

I upgraded to this and love it. Wasn't cheap, around $360, but worth it to me.

CoverTune, very nice looking light you have there. Was it a simple plug and play? Do you have a link to where you bought it?

Yep, very simple. Unplug one, plug in the other, good to go!

I believe this is the one I got;

OPT7 H4 9003 LED motorcycle headlight conversion kit. Ebay. $50.
This bulb is incredible. Excellent low beam cut off, not bothering oncoming drivers but great spread, reach and brightness. High beam is incredible, keeps all of low beam light and adds high beam. Like the a 4 bulb truck setup.
Fits right in, plug and play with all needed parts.

My first motorcycle was a '74 Honda CL175.

I paid $400 for it.

I feel old.

That one has gone down to 169. :-) I wonder, anyone know off the top of their head if it will fit my 950T? The one in the link is a 7" headlight.
