I just because a V Star owner a little over a month ago when I bought a left over '08 1300 tourer, great bike. I was on a Vulcan 750 but thougth that it was a little cramped for riding two up with my son. That and I am hoping to get my wife on the back end as well.
I am currently still on active duty in the Navy with just over 24 years but am planning on retiring soon. I am also originally from PA and have lived in FL(x2), TN(x2), CA(x3), HI, VA, and NV (yes the Navy can keep you hopping!!).

By the name I bet another Navy CPO is ridin the roads. I was also born and raised in PA. Retired from the Navy (Pax River area) and now live in the mountains of WV. Eastern WV panhandle is a great place to ride. Hope to exercise my new 950 Tourer as soon as the weather clears. Hope you enjoy your new bike and visit WV when you get the chance. Welcome aboard.:)
