I do not want to post this, but I need to. This past Sunday afternoon another rider crashed on US 150, he took the chopper ride to the hospital, but did not help. He was 61. This stretch of road claims many every season.

150 between Shoals and French Lick IN. is a great ride(think a cousin to the Dragons Tail)Crotch rockets love it. It is maybe 15 miles or so. Locals have no problem, flatlanders are buzzin along and hit this road and many crashes each season, at best a bad case of road rash, at worst, the ultmate price:(

I feel some of you have ridden this road, the ones that like the back scenic roads, it is pretty. You know what I mean.

Just want to tell folks, figure this road in on your trips, keep your head and eyes clear. It had very hairy curves, folks die each year on this little piece of road, let's make sure it is not one of us. Ride safe, all.

Update: Since I posted 4 days ago, there were 3 more wrecks(that I know of) on this little piece of hiway. No deaths, just broken bones and the hide barked pretty good. One solo, two with their lady on, the solo with a helmet, the others, no.

Folks, I swear, this one stupid sumbitch runnin drunk, his lady clothes tore off, runnin around with her ass hangin out, what a mess.

As info: I learned after I posted about the ol rider gettin killed Sunday, he had a helmet.............strapped to the back of his Harley! Opine here, I flat out don't get it:confused: Wear a helmet or not, the riders choice. BUT, if you ain't gonna wear it, leave the damn thing at home, looks cool bein scraped up off the road with your helmet strapped on your bike, huh?

All keep your head out of your ass, ride safe and ride long.

When innocents die because others exceed their abilities, it's a tragedy.

When egos die because they exceed their abilities, it's purging the gene pool.

Callous outlook? No doubt. But when you're the one called in to clean up the aftermath, emotions go into mothballs.

I sympathize with the innocent victims; I have no feeling for the fools.
