I was looking at some Jardine slip on's for my V star 1100. Only becasue I don't want something obnoxious loud, just louder than my stock exhaust. I've been looking and reading alot and i'm getting confused. Do I need to re jet no matter what? If so how much does that cost? Thanks

It seems to be teh consensus that if all you change is a slip on exhaust it is not necessary to re jet.

Here is a link to some instructions.

Mild slip ons you can do with just a minor carb adjustment. Shouldn't need to re-jet unless you start getting farther away from stock. If you do, re-jetting is easy. I payed about $100 for 1 kit.
