I'm also looking to put new bars on my 1100 Custom, do I go with a dimpled or non dimpled bar?

Go with dimpled if you want to hide the wiring inside the handlebars (you will still have to drill the holes yourself) but the dimples allow room for the wires to go insideand be hidden
