Hi new to this forum and would liketo know what the oil filter on the 950 v-star will cross over to in a better filter. Say a Mobil one like I use on my FJR.

I was told the Mobil 1, M1-110 will fit and is a little longer than the stock filter as well.

Oil filters are like all other products, it's how you like it and what you believe to be the best or at least better that others, your choice, here are some I'm told will work: purolator ml16817..stp sdf13..fram 6017a..napa gold 1358..emgo 10-82220(crome) 10-82230(black). Hope this helps you some. :)

People must use well and good oil filter because if you are use this filter then impurity of your fuel would be decreased and due to that its good effective for your mileage.Its also very helpful to increased your engine life because of oil filter impurity can not able to applying in your engine so its very helps.
