Hi folks,

I just recently upgraded to a brand new 08 V Star 650 Silverado Classic this spring.

It was a treat to myself, after recovering from a slip on the ice this past winter that left me with a broken left leg and ankle.

I just hit the 1000 mile mark today, on my daily ride to the grocery store, on my way out as I extended my left hand out to insert the key, I felt a sharp bee like sting, right in the center of my left palm.

When I looked down, I saw a perfect circle that was starting to bleed pretty well, so I applied pressure to stop the bleeding and went home.

After being home for a while, the thing kept bleeding, and my two middle fingers were sort of stiff. My wife suggested that I go to the hospital just to make sure that nothing was in there, and that I at least get a tetanus shot.

What they found after an X ray was a BB embedded all the way down in between my two middle fingers, they had to cut the dam thing out and it has left me with 7 stitches and a hand that i can't use to ride with for our camping trip for this Memorial day weekend.

What are the odds of that happening?? 09 has started out a little dangerous for me lately, it just makes me wonder, LOL
