Has anyone used the Maxair AIS removal kit? I'm looking to totally remove everything, and want to know if this kit allows removal of the lines from the heads too. I e-mailed Maxair and the reply I got was just a "here you go" link to the kit. Mainly I was curious as to how the fittings are mounted into the heads, threaded or pressed. I've got the lines plugged for now and it's stopped all the popping and backfiring. I had to do the same thing to my Venture when I opened up the mufflers. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes, they come off and small block off plates go back in the place, using the stock bolts. LA choppers sells a good kit, actually it is a Barons kit, only cheaper. I got one recently on amazon.
