Thanks Hi there; I also have a V-star 650. Mine is a 1998 Classic with Silverado options. In my opinion I recommend: 1) Clutch adjustment mod kit available on eBay for 17.99 Buy-it-now 2) Cobra (or similar) Stage 1 Carburetor Jet Kit - Got mine on eBay 3) Modify stock muffler by drilling muffler baffles - sounds good 4) RAK air cleaner mod - cheap & boosts high end hp - must jet carbs 5) good synthetic motorcycle oil (don't do oile until after 1500 miles at least) I'm happy with mine & can easily get over 50mpg with a full windshield johnb 06vstar 05-31-2009, 10:23 PM Thanks for the input | ||
