The wife and I joined a gym this week and starting working out.Love to ride the bikes but it gets you real lazy and a little lumpy in the middle. We're not getting any younger and if we wait until we're older it's going to be that much harder. So here we are getting a jump start to a healthier life style. Any body else on here do the fitness thing?:)

I got an elyptical, the wife has a treadmill. Haven't been to the gym in a few months. I'm thinking of maybe not procrastinating any more.....maybe tomorrow...:)

Been running since the seventies, but the older I get, the more I have nagging little injuries that prevent me from running. Right now I have a heel fracture and plantar fasciitis which makes walking painful and running impossible. Very painful. Before that it was a groan muscle (spelled accurately from my perspective), then a knee before that. I'm doing more walking these days before I fall apart completely.

Also been lifting weights for about 16 years. There is never a time you don't feel good after that. I lift alone.

You have to keep disciplined with weights. If you decide you don't feel like it one day, it may be 3 months before you get back to it. That's the good thing about having a partner: they can may you work out when you don't feel like it. The bad thing is they can make you NOT work out when THEY don't feel like it....

It's no use. Eventually TSA will catch you. Just surrender, do your time and get on with your life:D:D:D

I consider running often, but then the TV commercial ends and so does my ambition.
