Motorcycle Superstore Service

Normally, we like to tell everybody when we have had a bad experience and try to let everyone know who to stay away from so we don't get screwed, but I have a positive review of Motorcyce Superstore. I am not affiliated with this company, just a satisfied customer, for a change!:

It's sometimes hard to tell the quality of a company who does most of their business online, but we stopped by the Motorcycle Superstore in Louisville yesterday as we were passing through as i was looking for a jacket and pants, and they were just a few blocks off of I-65. I was impressed. The place was big and they had lots of things too choose from, and I got my stuff at about 60% off, but what impressed me the most was the people working there. We were greeted with a willing and helpful employee, but not over-bearing. He said to let him know if we had questions and he would find the answer, then left us alone to browse. I ended up talking to 3 people in the store, and it was the same thread: they were helpful, courteous, and we felt like they truly appreciated their business, but not pushy or over-bearing. The guy even took my stuff up to the front counter to hold while I was still looking around! I only spent $75 on two deeply discounted items, but they treated me as if I was buying a truckload of stuff. This is a place I will do business with again.

That's great to hear. I know of nothing close to me that I can elevate beyond a catalog center, dealerships included.

I think we should all note the good ones we have come across.

I have never used motorcycle super store, so I can not speak for them.

For me Pacific Coast Star is excellent to work with. Good prices and very knowledgeable people. They also worked with me on taking care of something they dont list on their site.

Come on guys post em up.

I've had great service from Cycle Gear over the years. Bought some soft bags in Las Vegas and started road tripping. 18 months and 20k miles later they had started to shred. I happened to walk into the Cycle gear in Austin and was chatting to a guy and he said to just bring them in. They gave me a new set off the shelf FOR FREE. While the selection here in San Francisco is not great the staff seem knowledgeable, friendly and the prices for big ticket, name brand items (I had to replace my helmet) are reasonable. And in a city that is notoriously bad for parking they have a bank of free motorcycle spots right out front

'06 VStar 1100 Classic - black with ghost flames!
Cobra sissy bar and luggage rack
National Cycle windshield
National Cycle quick release hardbags
Lindby engine guard
Driving lights mounted to engine guard

More to come when I save enough cash!

.

I think there should be an entire section devoted to vendor reviews and product reviews. Members could search through the threads to find the good, bad, and the ugly.

I would definitely be all for this. Personally, I've dealt with both motorcyclesuperstore and leatherup online, and have been rather impressed with both.

Maybe we should suggest it to the moderators?? It could have star ratings and comments, kinda like Amazon does. Of course it would need to be moderated to keep trollers out.

I like em..I have ordered from them 5 times..all 4 were quick to ship and at decent prices..1 was a decent price, but the item was listed in stock even though it wasn't. They couldn't give me an estimate of when it would be in stock after 2-3 weeks of waiting, and also still listed the item as "In Stock". 1/5 Ain't bad though I figure, maybe just an off week.
