Question noisy lifters

well friends i know i read something on this before but just can't find it my 07 1300 tourer has just under 20k and the lifers have started making noise is this something i need to be without my bike for a day or so for the shop to adjust them or will it hurt the motor if i do nothing at this time

The 1300 doesn't have lifters (the same applies the he bolt, 950 and stryker). The rocker arms sit on the overhead cam via roller bearings. Valve adjustment checks are done every 16,000 miles. So it may be time to check the valve adjustment.
