$20 Bill in the tool kit

Forgot to grab my wallet this morning
got all the way to work... no lunch for me today :^(

realized how many times a $20 bill in the took kit on my bike could really come in handy.

Would be enough to fill my tank, and buy dinner at BK or McDs.

Ive been doing some 200+ mile rides on weekends... would hate to make "that" phone call.

Also occurred to me, could keep the spare keep for my bike in one of my zipped jacket pockets.

Good point. I keep "emergency" money in all my cars but I can see where I may need to do so on my bike too. Thanks.

I have always stashed some cash in the storage compartment of my Honda, and also in my wife's V-Star. In fact I began this practice 37 years ago when I bought my first motorcycle; (a new 1980 Kawasaki KH100EL) always kept a $20 bill in it back in the day. Because you just never know.

.....I began this practice 37 years ago .....

now I feel dumb because it took me 38 years to figure this out for myself

thats how long its been since I got my first MC, a used '74 Honda CL175, in WP Beach FL.

BTW, added a bit more: extra ear plugs, bandaids, neosporin packets, advil, tums.... raided the first aid kit at work.
