This is an idea I have seen on another forum, and it seemed like a lot of fun if enough people participate. This forum has more than enough activity that it should take off. The basic idea is this; while riding find certain objects or signs or whatever to take a pic of your bike in front of. Your bike has to be in the pic as well as whatever the specified object is. The first person to post the specified pic wins that round and gets to choose the next object. The object chosen can be as hard or easy to find as you like, as long as you can put a bike in front of it. Let's go with your hometown sign as the first object to find, just to get started. Don't forget to choose another object if you win!

My question is how did you get the bike past the security check point. Did you claimed it as a disability device with a doctors note? ?

Good job Scrum! You win the first round. Now you get to decide what the next object is to take a pic of a bike with. Can be anything, easy or hard to find, as long as you can get the bike in the pic with it.

Kept think about this thread everytime I rode past a police station: stop, park my bike, take photo with cell phone, connect cell phone to laptop, upload picture.....

But today riding back from the Pierce Arrow Museum in Buffalo, I stopped to take a sore-butt break in a little village on route 20, was sitting on a bench, looked across the street: State Police sub station counts, right?

Had two ideas for the next challenge, will make it easy: take a photo of your ride in front of a water fall. Must be some level of water falling, garden hoses and car washes do not count!

Extra credit if you can calculate how much power in Kilowatts is being expended by the falls. Show all equations and work, punctuation neatness and correct units are required. No partial credit!

Down here in the flat lands (swamp lands to be correct) a water fall is a rain storm. Maybe I can find a spot where the water is running off the road into the ditch... ;-)

OK, I'm going out on a limb here. There's not a waterfall within hundreds of miles of me. So I thought about you challenge. Take a picture of your ride, I ride a Yamaha so my ride is in picture. It's a picture so zero kilowatts of power is being produced. So do I win?

... I ride a Yamaha so my ride is in picture. ... So do I win?

...
on your next anniversary give your wife a photo of some roses and a photo of a couple eating dinner at a nice restaurant. When you do this have your next of kin take a video and post it, so we will not spend the next ten years wondering "whatever happened to Les?!" :^O

I love this thread but Photoshop should not be involved. I will try for a waterfall with my bike in the picture. blueblitz09 great idea! I got involved in a similar thread on YMF just before it shut down and would love to see it go on here.

that and the intention is you have to ride your bike somewhere and take the photo

not to hunt thru your collection of old photos that might apply....

ie an excuse to ride your bike somewhere today, as if we needed an excuse to ride.

I guess we should all gang up and shame BlueBlitz for not making the rules clear, either with full legalize wording, or with a power point presentation...

Or just exclude people like me that like to make up the rules as we go. ?. My wife will not play board games with me as I will always find a loop hole in the rules and use it to my advantage. As she says I play only to win (yep) and she plays for the fun. I will follow the intent from now on.

Funny how many Monopoly games end up with the board flying up in the air ↑

I rode past a Yamaha Dealer on a recent road trip to Buffalo, and almost stopped, but I realized its a dealer that spams the "Motorcycle for sale - owner section" on Cragslist - screw him!

Stopped at my local dealer today to see if I could get a hi-viz summer mesh jacket. Didnt find one, did drool on a 2014 Roadliner with zero miles on the odo, and got the photos.

Time to rachet this up a notch: next challenge:

Take a photo of your bike in front of a jet powered aircraft. Can be fixed wing or rotary wing (helicopter). Can be a moth-balled aircraft that is no longer being flown. Can be in a Museum.

Extra credit if you can sit on your bike and touch the aircraft at the same time.

Double extra credit if the aircraft is parked infront of a VFW post, and you buy a round of drinks for everyone at the bar.

I was getting ready to ride to the store for tortillas and cheese (Breakfast quesadillas)and thought I can go about 20 minutes out of my way to McClellan Air Museum. by the way Breakfast was delicious. The next pic is your bike in a line-up with at least 3 other bikes.

nice that the guy on his tippy toes on the beamer is wearing a white helmet and hi-vis jacket

when he tries to stop on a road that is slightly sloped to the right, and he tippy's over, someone will be able to see him trapped under that nice bike.

the last page of this thread has vaporized

the last challenge posted was to take a photo of your MC in front of a train.
