2014 xvs 1300t

Taking this bike for test ride this weekend. Anyone have any input, good or bad, about this bike? Appreciate it.

I dont have one but from what I have heard from owners its a great bike, very fast if you want it to be

and there are no known design issues or problems.

Its one of the bikes I was considering getting, along with the Road Star, but I found a great deal on a Royal Star that I could not pass up.

I've got a 1300 (non tourer), and I love my bike. As far as I can tell, the only difference between the non-tourer and the tourer, are the factory accessories. The tourer comes with a windscreen and saddlebags. I can only say that there's 2 minor design issues that I personally dislike, and they're kind of hand-in-hand.
  • The ignition is housed in front of the speedo, in the triple tree
  • The speedo is on top of the risers, so you really don't have many options for changing risers
That said, the bike itself is a great bike. As for the ignition, I'm not sure if there's still a relocation kit made for it or not. The speedometer location, that's something I'm still toying around with possibilities on. But, those are personal preference.

I have a 1300. I put a Slipstream windshield and hard bags on mine. I love it. I have had Suzukis, Kawasakis and now Yammys...My bike has the O2 sensor mod done (easy to do) and it is a burner....I can ride like I stole it all day and there is more in it...

Have a 2013 tourer. Great performer, and some common mods can goose it appreciably.
