Denali Soundbomb vs. Mini

Does anyone have a strong opinion on the "Standard" vs. "Mini"? The Mini looks like a quick & simple replacement for the stock horn on my Vstar 650 Custom, where I believe the "Standard" requires a wiring harness. I like "Easy", hence I'm thinking about the "mini", but will it be louder then the stock (roadrunner "beep beep" that gives me no respect on the road)?

the horn on my royal star is anemic. Can hardly hear it while Im riding. The VW style horn on my 650 is louder.

Let us know if the mini works out for you.

The manuals for the Royal star dont call out a fuse just for the horn. The specs on the mini says it draws 5A, so I guess that is ok.

I replaced one of the stock horns on Big Bertha (2000 Road Star Silverado) with this. Works reasonably well. I can hear it over wimpy stock horns at 70+mph and with a full helmet on listening to music at high volume. Is it supposed to be a universal horn and work with all stock wiring. No additional wiring or fuses. Plug and play.
