...a day at ‘floyds barber shop’...

This morning I went to my local barber shop in Dayton for a haircut when a customer came in wearing a motorcycle helmet. Of course we had to start a bike conversation. Here’s a few pics of what he rode up on. An ‘84 Honda Nighthawk. The pictures don’t do it justice, he loves the early metrics and so do I. Made a new friend today!

Those NightHawks were great bikes! Looks in pristine shape. I love it when someone takes care of s good piece of machinery! 👍

Interesting to see those oldies! Most of them were GEMS too!!! Sometimes I wish I still had my 80 cc Yamaha road bike just for fun.

Ride safe and enjoy~YammyV

This bike was flawless! The owner,Lonnie, and I talked at least an hour and lives about 15 miles from us. We’re going to try to hook up in the future to go riding.
His bike was period correct with only 10k on it, he said he keeps his old bikes in mint condition and rides them and doesn’t trailer them. Looking forward to meeting up with him.

Looks brand new! I also have a lot of admiration for folks who pay this kind of attention to their machines. Wish I had more of it in me.

I had one a these:

How cool! I remember the XR100’s, great little dirt bikes.
I agree, wish I had more time to do it, lol.

I had a brand new '77 XR75. It looked like that for about a week...lol. Had a lot of fun with my friends on that little bike.
