Grips - recommendation for best rubber adhesive / left grip replacement

Got some new grips (very Sweet!). Old left grip was a real battle to remove.
What rubber adhesive have you found to be best for good hold AND ability to remove later?
Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions!!

I got some Kuryakyn ISO grips for my VStar that came with glue. It held for a couple of months then the grip started turning. So I got some super glue (gel type) and it never came loose again. I did try to get them off before I sold it but it was holding firm. Admittedly I didn't try very hard so it might have come off if I'd put more effort into it. I just didn't want to risk damaging it. When I got them for my Nomad I just tossed the glue that came with them and used the super glue again. It's not a good feeling when your left grip comes loose.

I used 3m spray adhesive to mount the rubber pads on my dakota fiberglass running boards. Worked great.

I ain't lost until the tank is empty!
