Question Mounting kits for lowers? Kuryakyn or Memphis? Other?

I've tried to find the thread but I thought I remembered someone talking about Kuryakyn mounting kits for lowers being more sturdy than the Memphis Shades mounting kits? Does that ring a bell with anyone?

It could also have been a company other than Kuryakyn. Cobra maybe?

Can't comment about the Kuryakyn because I haven't tried them.

I recently put the Memphis Shades Fork Deflectors on my V Star 950. I'm very happy. No issues at all.
It made a nice improvement on wind buffeting.
I got the fork deflectors which are a bit longer and wider than the lowers and folks here on the forum have stated the fork deflectors do a better job..

What Iíve seen is Kuryakyn seemed to be a bit more sturdy. I seem them on a number of bikes and the owners all seemed pleased with them.

I did the same, less wind noise and buffeting!
