New clutch?

I have a v star 1300 and was wondering if putting a performance clutch would make a difference. Also, getting close to 25k miles what should i be looking for and keeping an eye on? Trans fluid, primary fluid, lube points, gaskets? I bought this bike 3k miles ago but dont think the clutch has been replaced.

unless you are running 1/4 mile races at the track, the clutch should last for 100,000 miles

if you like to rev the crap out of the engine and slip the clutch at 4000 rpm taking off from a red light, a performance clutch will grab better, but it wont last any longer

these are cruiser bikes

i installed 'performance' clutch friction plates on my bike that wore out after about 25,000 miles. go with OEM.
