$100 to $150 per day?

YIKES! you can rent a car for $150 a week, with unlimited mileage

one of the reasons I love motorcycles is they are simple machines

and therefore very inexpensive to own, maintain and operate

Holy smokes. The one in Newport News, VA (city next to mine) rents them. I'll have to remember this.

I can think of several other things I would rather "rent" for the day for $200, than a motorcycle....

Renting a bike can be very costly if you ever get in a wreck. None of your car or bike insurance covers bike rentals like in a car rental. So you will be 100% responsible for any deductable and/or damage to a rented bike.
