xyilon

Have any of you folks used xzilon on your bike? Heard lots of good things about it, but the cost seems to be ultra bucks, is it worth it? If you use it, what are the + and - of it? Thanks

A sealer much like clear coat. Was hot a few years back but has had a lot of bad press lately. Also the use by Boeing was not quite the way Xzilon had claimed it to be . I don't know of any one that has used it thou.

Hi,Taboo, when I made that post a year ago, I had just heard of the stuff, knowing alot of the boys here keep their bikes pretty spiffy, I thought maybe it was common knowledge and I had been left out in the middle of the woods(not uncommon for me )

The deal was my brother had just bought a new Ford truck, and the dealer(always happy to plump up the bottom line) done the hype job on xyilon, he done it, and told them he rode too so got some for his bikes. Farmall has it pretty well right as to what it is.

A year later, I am impressed as to how it has held up, the dirt and stuff just rolls off with water, his bike is always cleaner than mine, no effort, I have to work on mine. I think it is maybe a bit labor intensive to apply, but lookin at his truck and bikes, good stuff Ride safe.

Yes it dose work and very well also. Ebay seams to be the place to get it. I don't mind waxing my bike a few time a year.
