Has you guys seen the app called "WeRide"? It's available for Android and iOS devices, and allows you to see & share rides/routes.

My favorite local ride, for anyone who gets to Central PA - Amish Country, Gettysburg, HersheyPark, etc. is to zig-zag over the mountains between cumberland and perry counties.

On the north, Valley Rd. parallels the range and Wertzville Rd does so on the south. Connecting them every few miles are roads that criss-cross the mountains: Tower Rd, Lamb's Gap Road, Miller's Gap Rd, Mountain Rd., Rte. 34, Waggoner's Gap Rd., etc. They're all nice 2-lane twisties. Easy cruising at 35-40, a few hairpins that you can scrape the pegs at 25 if you like, and you don't have to go over 50 to get some real thrills going.

Just "up one and down the next" is a good hour-long 'clear my head and relax' ride. Hitting more adds time: really your choice how long you want to zig-zag.

I live in NC near Charlotte so we have lots of awesome roads that I'm still exploring. My favorite so far is NC221 going up to Grandfather mountain from the south.

One of my favorite rides is Sacramento to Avenue of the Giants.
5 north to exit 537 left on Main St. through Woodland.
It will turn into Hwy.16 Farmland into canyon on the way is Cash Creek Casino.
Left turn onto Hwy. 20 through Clearlake great place to stop for food eating lake side.
20 to 101 north This is where it gets interesting Willets a couple of great bars, Leggetts (Drive thru tree) a few Bigfoot tourist places.
Exit 645 Avenue of the Giants I stay at a friends house but Miranda Garden Cottages is a great place to stay 1920's cottages some with fireplaces.
A few pictures.

For anyone in NE OK, try the highway 82 to 20 to 82 run from Langley to Spavinaw to Tahlequa. Good one day run that is scenic, twisty, and has good places to stop on both ends.

East Tennessee gets all the internet love with the dragon and the whip but middle Tennessee has a lot of great roads. Natchez trace parkway, anything but I-24 toward Chattanooga, Cedar Hill lake region, Cordell Hull lake region, Dale Hoolow lake region. Beautiful scenery, water falls parks. Grab a map and a handful of throttle.

I'm glad to see you listed Motorcycle Roads. The number of routes they list is unbelievable. They not only have the route listed, but misc. info about the route and often photos. I mention this site as I have posted over 700 photos myself.

Be sure to sign up for their newsletter where you will get a periodic article and links to special places. The last one listed the five top curvy roads in the country. I decided to use that list and will visit all five this summer.

How will I know when I get there if I don't know where I'm going?
