Why? What they need to come up with is way to cool them down.

My hope is that the traditional cruiser will not become the extinct bird of the bike world....They made up the vast bulk of bikes in the 40s and for a good while after that, but now sport bikes and adventure bikes, you name it, have taken over a large segment of the bikes manufactured...

I believe Harley will expand liquid cooling to most or all of their bikes over time...

Grace + Peace,

this is a good catch, I had not heard about rainX for plastics.

Will try it on my helmet shield and the 20 yr old windshield on Ursa first, before I squirt it on my $400 Memphis Shades WS on the 650.

I put car wax(not polish) on my visor. Works as good as Rain-X

i wear an earlier version of this awesome backpack to work for my computer gear. it has a dry compartment in case i ever get caught in the rain and has a 40 liter capacity. and not expensive at all. designed for surfers but perfect for me.

I have been attempting to not wear a bag for my laptop, even a 13" laptop I cannot fit in the saddlebags. Probably just need a sissybar bag, as strapping my backpack to it has too many hanging straps left over.

I just hate the idea of having the laptop strapped to my back, plus it really kills the airflow on my back.

If you get knocked off the bike I dont think you want to be wearing a backpack when you hit the asphalt.
