Ever notice.....

Ever notice that errands done on the bike tend to take a lot longer than they do in a car?

I've noticed that when the weather is nice my commutes take a lot longer than in a car. When I drive my truck, I normally have a 5 mile commute to the office and a 5 mile commute home. When it's summer and the days are long, I have a 5 mile commute to work and a 70-80 mile commute home. Kinda ruins the whole "ride the bike to save gas" thing, too.

Hmm, I can't seem to be able to put errands and time together when I'm on the bike. I only have time on the bike so when I get home I can see how late I am.

I was just noting that for me what may only take a couple of hours in the truck turns into an all day thing when I'm on the bike. Mainly cause i take the long way for everything. You know what I mean, that long curvy road that goes around the whole county or the one with the best scenery! Just any reason to be out enjoying Gods beautiful creations!
