Cobra slipons

Going to install Cobra slipons.
Should I use never sieze or is it unesesary.
V Star 1100 2005

I assume you are referring to using it where the mufflers slips over the head pipe. If that's the case no. There is a gasket there to seal it . I would however, apply locktite to the clamping screws. I had to replace both of mine twice before I learned this lesson.

I did the same as Summer when I installed my Cobra slip-on. Locktite helps a lot as you're not always having to continually tighten up the bracket bolts.
