Was ripping around my buddys Virago 700..wow

He has stripped off alot of stuff to make it a bobber. It currently just has exhaust and it needs to be rejetted. Not to mention its been sitting for at least 10 years and fired right up on the old gas.

Riding it around the street it feel like it had alot of balls for a small motor. Comparing it to my 650 classic it felt wayyyyyy faster lol.

It makes me wanna start eliminating everything I can off my bike

My pig...

When I rode my virago xv750 home before I started to bob it, I felt the same way. Very quick and nimble. I felt like I could straddle it and pick it up and move it around in my garage very easily, lol. This is how it looks now as I continue to work on it.

There is like nothing to them lol. Any other pics of that beast or mod tips? Id love to send em to my buddy for motivation. And i'm surprised they made a 700 and 750 cc engine, so close to each other.

I'm going with the single tail lamp on the shortened rear fender, bullet style turn signals front and rear, solo spring seat is on its way, and one of the pic's shows how I plan to run the exhaust down the right side after cutting off the factory mufflers. Black gloss paint for the tank and rear fender, chassis black paint for the frame and wheels, and hi-temp black paint for the engine. I'll be having the seat done black tuck and roll with red piping, and the front brake calipers will be done in red. Taller handlebars are on order, and that should be the bulk of the mods. Hope the pic's help.
