Red face Kevlar or Ceramic brake pads?

Replacing brake pads on my 07 vStar 1100. Do you recommend Kevlar or Ceramic pads or neither?

semi metallic the best of both worlds. ceramics are terrible when wet, or dirty, kevlar are real dusty and spongy and wear quickly oems are semi metallic so i stick with what works best for me, the semi's are a bit harder on the disk but used disks on ebay are pretty cheap and some of em have really low miles on em

i think this chart is pretty accurate. i've been going with double-h sintered pads for the past several years. i've been pleased with the stopping power and longevity and haven't added any noticeable rotor wear since i've been using them. they tend to last me about 3 years/30K miles. kevlar pads will probably give you the best overall stopping power/bite, but also has the lowest lifespan.
