I dont remember where I got the info, the headlight on a 650 is a standard car 60W / 55W bulb that you can normally find at Walmart in the auto section.

Try googling the bikes or ping Amazon. Thought I wrote it down in my manual but cant find the numbers

no, i want to change the whole thing. 650s are more available on ebay. the mounting bracket looks like the same part number.
i was trying to put one together on the cheap.went for a last warm weather ride saturday and i can't put it away till spring, might even change the bars around.

You want to replace the entire headlight assembly... ok. I always think of the headlight as the bulb.

I did find the info, its an H4 auto/MC light 55/60W incase anyone finds this thread looking for the bulb.

Its also the same bulb on the 650 and the 1100.

Regarding replacing the entire assembly from one model to the other, I cant help with that.

I just compared my 650 with the 1100 and they look to be the same.

The bulb is the same but that could just be standard. It kind of makes sense to keep the same parts for different models. I ordered the bracket and now a lot of the buckets i see come with the bracket included. Little smart too late.
