Cobra slip on Question

I just ordered a Cobra slip on for Yamagurl.. Does it require any gaskets and would they be included?

They were not included with mine. I replaced mine with new ones as I hope it will be the last time in a while that the exhaust will be off.

If they are just slip on then you shouldn't need a gasket...the only gaskets are where the header pipes mount to the engine. They should just clamp on. I put baron customs slip ons on mine last year. They just had a band clamp around them

Excellent, Thanks, Yea it is the slip on I am keeping the stock header pipes. I want a little more sound out of her when that cage pisses me off.

tpeach66 is right on, have the cobra slip on and it's an easy swap. YouTube has a great video on it, it took me less than an hour with hand tools. Love the more throaty sound.

A little, enough to notice a difference. I noticed it more with running non-ethanol fuel. Biggest improvement was after the XXX LA choppers open air filter kit. The cobra slip on was a definite improvement.
