Comments On Your New Venture/Eluder

One of the draws for me to this bike is the looks, and I in fact told a local Yamaha dealer yesterday that the headlights remind me (and others) of a sixties muscle car.

I’m just curious what kind of comments you new owners get while out riding, whether they be good, bad, or indifferent? I never buy a motorcycle based on public opinion, but it is fun for me (and funny sometimes) to hear what others think/say.

My current ride gets an occasional comment (nice bike) or question (is it new), but I’m sure you lucky ones with the new bike get a fair amount.....so start spilling the beans

One of the most common I get is “Man! That is Bada$$!”. The pic I showed you with the lights on in front of the convenience store happened thus: A guy pulled up to the pumps in a Nice Mercedes and was looking at the bike as he walked in smiling and shaking his head. When he came back out, he stopped and said “Man, that thing looks Bada$$! And that seat is just plain NASTY! Nice job! I GOTTA get me one of those!”.

I have everything from the good to the bad to the ugly to the haters.
Let's see I have people come over and talk to me about it, first many say "is that the new gold wing" and then after telling them no it is the new SVTC they look at it and just say wow. Nice bike, very nice, love what they done with the look of this bike which is usually followed again by "what is it?" Yamaha SVTC.
I have people say "I read about this bike". "Too much money"
I would never spend the money on that bike "its not American".
Then I have the people that have to walk over and practically climb on it like it's a darn jungle Jim.
I had a dude come over yesterday and talk to me about the bike and say wow what a nice bike again nice gold wing. After my correction he was shock that a bike from another manufacturer can have an eye catching bike better than the gold wing.
Then he asks can I sit on it. Hell no I say.
Then I have had folks shadow me while driving and either taking pictures or videos. Not sure which.
I have gotten the front looks like a new sports car and the back looks like a old classic car.
So you will have everything come your way when owning this bike but there are many more oohs and aaahs and ogling than the haters. I hope.
