Star Venture Engine Heat Discussion

Video talking about engine heat on the Star Venture. I have found engine heat to be a none issue once break-in is done on this motorcycle.

Here is a video talking about engine heat or the lack of engine heat. There were some videos when this motorcycle was first released and people did the Yamaha Demo Rides and they complained of engine heat. As an owner just a couple miles shy of 13,000 miles I can tell you that engine heat is a non issue here in hot and muggy Southwest Florida.

I've ridden in temps up to 90 degrees here in NC. While I'm aware of the warmth on the left side, it is not uncomfortable. I don't ride in stop and go traffic, so I can't comment on if it's worse then. Anything below about 70 and I don't notice anything at all. In fact, on one 45 degree day when I wasn't wearing long johns or chaps, I was wishing for MORE heat (and yes, lower vents were closed).
