Bar Ends

Anyone taken the bar ends off? I thought there was a cap on the end but that does not appear to be the case.

Why would you want to take them off? Are you changing the grips?

No, just curious. I dont see how they come off unless the entire end screws into the bars. I have a service manual but it does not cover this. Probably so easy they figure no need to cover it in the manual.

Alright, I got them off. The caps on the end are plastic and removable. The bar ends are solid metal with no bolts running through. They're heavy, high quality!

I've ridden my bikes with and without bar end weights. I can't feel a difference myself.
