I have a 08 venture, i was needing to know if the bikes wireing can handle the added load of a trailer or do i need to do something diff. thank you, ride free,partyhard, live long. oh i am in kansas, thanks again.

The wiring should be fine, guys do it all the time.. But the charging system on the Royal Stars does not handle extra load very well, If you have passing lamps, or ride with heated clothing, you should probably make sure the trailer has LED lights to minimize the load.. Or upgrade the alternator.

I donīt know what the book says for your amp load, but here is a link to help you with adding a fuse box sothat you will not have problems. It is originally for a kawasaki but the logic of putting another fuse box on is a good one.


You wqill find the gadget page to be handy in a lot of ways.

Not sure if im posting in the right area but im wondering if anyone ever had a prob. with there passing light .I have checked the fuses and they are ok it has a push botton on /off switch and im wondering if that would be the prob.
