We have a 1996 Royal Star XVZ13A with stock 4x4 exhaust. The previous owner drilled out all of the baffles and removed the center pipes, which makes the bike entirely too loud for an early morning/late night commute to and from work in my neighborhood! What is the least expensive way to remedy this? Would I be able to attach baffles, or will I have to replace the mufflers? I know the stock mufflers have been discontinued, and I have been watching eBay for stock takeoffs, but they have been very limited and in poor condition. What other years and models would fit? I would not be opposed to 4x2 pipes if I can find or make a bracket to support it.
Another question, I have a factory driver and passenger seat from a 2003 v-star 1100 Silverado. Is there any way to replace or adapt the mounting hardware to make it fit the Royal Star?
