Lowers

I have a 08 Stratoliner S with Cobra Fatty bars. Bought some used Bucks Lowers off another forum but they hit the Cobra bars when turning. Does anyone have the Memphis Shades Lowers with the Cobra Bars? Want to be sure I will not have the same problem before I buy them.

I cannot verify it myself, but I have heard the MS deflectors will work with the Cobra fatty bars. If you verify this and make the purchase, I will be more than happy to buy the Buck's Lowers to help you offset the cost. I have a midnight version with painted forks so I don't want to use Memphis Shades that I would have to attach to the forks. I've been searching for a while for some Bucks.

I have the Yamaha Big Bar and Memphis Shades Lowers.
When searching for images for Cobra Fatty bars, it looks like both the Big Bar and Cobra may have about the same clearance for lowers.

My problem is, I also have the Yamaha passing light mounted so my turn signals are relocated lower.

When mounted normal the Memphis Lowers hit. I mount them left side on the right and right side on the left. When mounting them this way, they curve forward rather than toward the rear giving me the needed clearance. When mounting them in this way, I turn the forks full left when mounting the left side. The lower just about touches the turn signal at the rear point and about 1/2" to the bar. When mounted, its hard to tell they are backwards.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like they will work for me then. I wanted the passing lamps but Yamaha says they are not avail yams not being currently produced. Two of the mounts have sold on eBay this year for about 700.00. That is just for the mounts! Donít want them that bad. Thanks again for the input.
