Hard Krome 3" RES pipes question

Just took off the stock exhaust on my 09' Roadliner and put on new black Hard Krome 3" RES pipes. The instructions from Hard Krome were pathetic, basically 'remove old pipes by unscrewing bolts, install new pipes by attaching with bolts'.

I removed the O2 sensor and cables for the EXup valve, and I am probably going to get the power commander, but until I do, does anyone suggest connecting or leaving the O2 sensor off? I live in Michigan so I'm not going to ride it for a bit, but when I called Hard Krome the guy said to get the power commander and it would let me know if I needed it or not. Unfortunately the folks at dynojet don't have a custom map for these pipes yet so I would either have to have it dyno'd around here or as the tech guy suggested, find a set of pipes on their list of custom maps most similar to mine and choose that download.

just looking for opinions. thanks!

If it has a spot for the o2 sensor, plug it in. Otherwise I'd imagine you'll get a check engine light of some kind, and lose performance, if it's anything like a car... The power commander might compensate for it, but I don't know. I didn't use one when I installed my pipes.
