trunk question

Has anyone made a trunk on the 08 Strat that has quick disconnect like the backrest and windshield? I have an old vetter trunt that I would like to put on and use maby .
Also is there a way to make backrest quick from the bracket to slide the trunk on?

there was a guy, he just had his Ultra Liner up for sale.

Anyway he bent pipe and bolted them into the backrest bracket and put the tour box on them. Remove with backrest lock quick release. And off it comes.

I hope that image link works. Above..

I considered buying one of the trunks on E Bay for $200 and mounting it on my luggage rack. I would have needed to remove the sissy bar and use some spacers in its place to get out of the way as the trunk has it's own back rest. Some of the smaller trunks might work the same way and leave the sissy bar on. The trunk would have been removeable with the luggage rack. But, if it opens from the rear the sissy bar would be in the way.

As it turned out I was afraid it would not be strong enough so went with the Scootworks trunk with it's own mounting hardware. Much more money and not removable. But, stronger. But, any trunk you mount on the luggage rack would be removeable with the rack. You would need to deal with the sissy bar.
