Raider front tire

I am needing to replace my front tire on the Raider. I know OEM is a belted tire. Has anyone changed to a radial. Looking for suggestions.

this is a decent read:

my understanding is that bias-ply is really only beneficial for heavier, touring bikes. so maybe if you do a lot of straight line traveling with a passenger and loaded luggage, i could see bias-ply being preferred over radials.

Thanks for your advice, I think I'll give a radial a try on the front.

I have Raider wheels on my Stratoliner and I have always run radials front and back. Currently have a Dunlop Elite 3 but have used Avon Cobras as well. Hope this helps.
