Looking to buy a Raider

Hey guys, New to the forum.

I am looking into purchasing a Raider.

I guess my main question is, is there any real big jumps between the years of bikes? Or has it just been minor improvements each year along the way?

I'm not sure if I should focus my efforts into an 09, or something like a 2012?

Hey good choose! No there are no real jumps other then some chrome & paint. I would buy an older one especially if your going to do any mods.

Thanks for the reply man! I just may do that, I would like to do some mods. I really like the look off the bike being completely blacked out, I'm not a huge chrome fan.

I agree chrome is great but my thought was go mat black then the chrome looks good other wise its to much shiny stuff going on. I want the bike to look mean not flashy! Lol

You could repaint the chrome parts in mat black depending on your bike colour? I mean, I'm not sure if the mat black looks nice with the blue bike?

Before I did my raider ( which you can see on my profile ) it was tommy blue. My first round of mods I did some mat black. I though it looked great against the blue. But now that my bike is chopped, raked & now mat black. Black I have more chrome to off set the black. But my thought is no matter what you do it's like a woman. As like is she hot in your eyes nothing else really matter!!!! Lmao.

P.S. and my woman is HOT!!!!!! Lol

Don't hesitate, I had a RoadStar Silverado and traded for a Raider. Couldn't be any happier. Its a great bike. You will never regret it.

Depending on where you live? Buy my 2009 with many extras. If interested, look in the classifides for pictures and info.
