clutch & brake lever removal

I was wondering if anyone has had the experience of removing both the clutch lever and brake lever on a Yamaha Raider. I'm thinking of high speed polishing them instead of replacing with chrome. I would appreciate some input. Just bought the bike last summer and wanting to make a few upgrades but don't know much about the mechanics of it yet.

Thanks, Mak

Should be pretty straight forward. Both are hydraulic so no cables to mess with. Just pay attention to the switches.

clutch and brake levers

Thanks for the advice. Probably not too hard? Just thought I would ask.

Thanks, Mak

I just did this. I bought a Raider that has been laid down and the brake lever was broken from the footrest bracket. I actually found a guy on ebay his name is chilly, and he sold me 2 new footrest brackets in chrome for 125.00 . I think that he may have more.
Disassembly is straight forward , 2 bolts on the bottom of the bracket , and a couple of screws on the side. The levers are bolted on with an allen head bolt, that you can access after you remove the bottom bolts of the bracket. Be real careful with the allen head , I stripped one out and had to cut it off with a dremel, now I am waiting for a new bolt in the mail.(custom rider.net)
