Roadliner Tires

It's time to replace the tires on my wife's Roadliner. I've done some looking around and it appears there are only two brand options for the rear tire but several for the front. Front size is a 130/70-18 and the rear is a 190/60-17. I know the Bridgestone is OE and that looks to be the only option for the rear aside from an Avon brand. Any recommendations on brands or possible different sizes? Can I use a 200/50-17 instead for the rear? Is it safe to mix brands? I hate being a noob at things sometimes...
