Tire Size

Getting new tires in before the old are gone . Having a challenge finding the Dunlop K555 that came with the bike ( out of stock )
Dealer rec, 130 /70B-18 for the front
170 /70 -16 for the rear

Tire guy in town here says more choice if I go to
130 / 80- 18 front
180 /65 -16 rear

Doesn't seem like a big size diference to me but a friend I ride with is if'y on the change .

Any thoughts /experience ?

Going with the "Tire Guy" suggestions you'll have a slightly higher profile tire up front and a slightly lower profile on the rear. It'll take you about 10 minutes of riding to adapt to these differences

Both front and back are bias ply . Managed to find a Metzler 880 front
in the recommended size , so just the back that might change
