I had a guy tell his wife to tell my wife(they work together) the other day that my front tire on my bike is coneing. Not only do I not know what that means, but its not an actual term. I assume he means the center of the tread looks pointy.... or the sides are wearing.... or something. He seems like one of those Harley riders that has one so that he can say he has one. I think he wanted to sound like a old timer biker that has knowledge to impart to a young guy. But I could be wrong, he may own a Yamaha and actually have some knowledge. But I thought I would throw it up here and see if anyone else has heard of coneing? IMO the only way a tire could cone is separation. I think if anything he saw the Zig Zag center tread of the Bridgstone Excedra, and visually that could seem pointy if you don't look at it closely. Either way I obviously had a good look at the flawless tire that is on my bike, and ignored the comment.
