White wall tire brushes

I've been using Mr.Clean magic eraser to get rid of the dirt and grime buildup on my white wall tires. The rear tire gets the worst of it because of the exhaust and I want to get them as clean/whiter as possible just like when I first bought and had them installed.

Who is using a brass brush? How safe are they for the tires/rims? Or is there a special brush made for ww tires?

I would use a good floor brush you get at Wally world. As long as the bristles on the brush are nice and stiff and you use a good cleaner all is good. I wouldn't use a metallic brush on the tires especially the rear one. You may cause some scratches in the rims finish which could lead to corrosion.

I bought a brush from NAPA that is used for bumpers, grills and wheels/tires. It cost a little bit more, but has lasted almost 15 years of heavy use and is by far the best design I've ever used for use on cars and bikes....add a little Purple Power cleaner in a spray bottle.....it makes having nice clean tires super easy.
