Michelin doesn't make a Pilot 4 to fit either of your rims. They're the wrong diameter and the load index seems targeted more for a sport bike in my opinion.
I'm a firm believer in the Michelin Commander IIs and will continue to buy them for the foreseeable future for my Roadstar. I've had pretty good results with Pirelli MT66s on my V Star. 4,000 miles on the rear and it looks pretty new still.
She'll be getting MCIIs whenever the existing tires wear out though. I ride with a guy who got over 19,000 out of a set on his Vaquero 1700.
