Question Removing Axle Components.

Hey guys,

I have a 99' V-Star 650 Custom, spoked rims. Getting the rims/spokes/hub powder coated. I need to remove all axle components and I am somewhat mechanically inclined, but then again I have never done this before.

How do I remove the oil seals properly without damaging them or should I replace them as I have it apart.

Bike has 29,000 km / 18,000 mi on it.

I appreciate the feedback!

Jon those a garloc seals and they are very difficult to remove without damaging them. I would get some new ones and just go from there.
